THIS IS HOW WE DO IT

We specialize in high-quality screen printed posters and apparel. Because we print all of our products in-house and by hand turnaround time is typically within 7-10 business days, sometimes less for smaller orders. Turnaround time is only an estimate and not a guarantee. Production begins when your order is paid in full or a 50% deposit is made AND we have all of the information needed to complete your job. Complex designs may increase production time.  In order to ensure a smooth transaction, we suggest taking a gander at our simple three steps to achieve screen printed awesomeness!

PREP IT

In order to ensure the best possible print, we suggest submitting artwork that is at least 300 PPI or in Vector format.

If you are creating your file in Adobe Illustrator, you will need to convert all of your texts to outlines. This allows us to open the file without requiring the font(s) used in your artwork.

We accept the following File Types:

  • Illustrator (.AI)
  • Vector (.EPS)
  • Photoshop (.PSD)
  • PDF
  • JPEG
  • TIFF

Please note that JPEG and TIFF files as well as non-Vector PDF files should be placed on a 13x19 canvas and scaled to the preferred size for garment and/or poster printing. Images must be 'clean' without blurriness or pixelation or an art charge may be incurred in order to properly adjust the file(s) for print.

If you are having any issues getting your files prepped, feel free to give us a call! We're here to help!

CHECK IT

After all artwork has been properly submitted and you have selected your products for imprinting, we will create a final proof for you to review in the form of a digital mock-up that you will receive via email. Once your mock-ups are approved, your job will be scheduled for print. Please be sure to check spelling, grammar and placement as well as sizes and quantities. Once your job is in print mode, no changes can be made. Revision requests made 24 hours after proofs have been sent may result in production delays.

THE METHOD TO OUR MADNESS

We offer the following printing styles:

  • Plastisol Printing -This is the traditional style of printing and most commonly used. Inks are thicker and sit on top of the fabric. This method can be used on any garment and work best in small print areas. Plastisol inks are typically used on all blended tees such as triblends and 50/50s.
  • Discharge Printing -best suited for darker colored garments, this process bleaches the dye out of the shirt, leaving its natural color showing through and giving it a 'vintage' look. Please note, results may vary depending on shirt color & brand and you must wash the shirts before they take their "no feel" state.
  • Waterbase Printing -these inks soak into the fabric of the garment and produce a soft, breathable tee. They are best for light colored garments or dark garments when the desired result is a worn, vintage look.
  • Four Color Process Printing -also known as CMYK, uses only 4 colors to achieve your photorealistic image (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black). This process is typically performed on white or light colored garments and will produce prints with a high amount of color detail. Because this process is a bit more time consuming setup-wise for this process only, we do require a 1 time set-up fee in order to get your artwork prepped for print.
